Editing Development

This screen shot shows the process of editing our footage. We took certain parts from the clips then added affects onto the clips to make them more effective and attention grabbing as we wanted to make sure that all of our clips caught the attention of our audience and left them with unanswered questions like Roland Barthes' theory on enigma code.

In this screen shot we put an effect on the clip to make the blood look darker and more fresh so that that the audience can see that its blood and can start to make up their mind on what is actually going on and what may happen next. However this clip doesn't give enough away for the audience to lose interest.

We then proceeded to go over our clips to make sure they went well together and didn't look unprofessional. Also to make sure that we didn't put any unneeded clips in as we need to keep out opening between 1.55 and 2.05 minutes yet we still need to make sure its effective enough for the viewers to want to watch on.

We then started to add credits to our film opening so that the viewers can see who was involved in the making of our opening sequence. Also we decided to include/add these credits to make our opening sequence more effective and professional looking.

This was once we got the hand of using 'final cut pro' as we experimented a lot to see what we really had access to and was able to use. This program allowed us to add certain affects onto the clips to make them more affective and professional looking. Also because of our genre we need to create a lot of suspense and make everything look more dramatic as we want out opening sequence to stick in the audiences mind so that they want to watch on.
